I'm Charlieonline. I'm 55 and I'm single. I'm neither tall nor fair nor with blue eyes, but I think I'm likeable all the same.

When I was young, I came to the conclusion that I wanted to become a Travel Agent, in as much as I saw a report on TV. Since then, whenever an opportunity presents itself to me, to listen to a Commercial of a Travel Agency, I get an irresistible urge to tour around the world and see everywhere. So as soon as I finished the Commercial School, I applied for a job at the Costa Shipowner. But when I received their affirmative reply, I hadn't the nerve to leave my parents. Then I began working at the Town Hall as a typist, and seing that my job wasn't very interesting, I tried to make all my free time pleasant doing nice things like reading, listening to music or talking long walks with my friends or alone. But what I liked most is travelling, travelling and travelling.

When I was forty, I decided that my life was too booring and I thought it was time for a change. For people with initiative it's possible to change careers even as mature adults, but for that it's necessary to speak foreign languages. For this reason I decided to study English.

Infact I have done a course at the British School where I found out that studying English, besides being interesting and helpful it's also very pleasant. Some years ago I would have been able to retire, but a new retirement law has demolishes all my plans, so I haven't been able to curry out the dream of my life. 

The only thing I can still do is travelling, so, every year I try to go away for a fortnight or a mounth, so that I might to tollerate my frustation, but sometimes I can't help thinking that if I seized my opportunity a long time ago, perhaps...........
