This tutorial was written using PSP9 and Animation Shop, 

but may be done with other versions, and assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP and its tools.

Tubes for this tutorial are by: Patry, SuziSgay, Yoka e YoM,

I find the other ones on the web, and copyright belongs to them

 

Supplies needed: Here

Texture unload: Here

 

 

Open the tubes and the texture

and minimize them to your Psp workspace for now.

 

Remember to save often.

Let's begin!

 

Open a new image 550w x 450h transparent background; Raster background checked; Color depth 16 million colors

Selections - Select all

Open  insomniacbg13.jpg, copy, return to your working image, 

Edit - Paste into Selection.

 

Selection - Select none

 

 

Open  precious_tube, Copy, return to your working image, 

Edit - Paste as New Layer.

Lower the Opacity to 80 and change the Blend Mode in Moltiply.

Place as follows:

 

 

 

Open  SS_622_Tube

Copy, return to your working image, 

Edit - Paste as New Layer.

Resize to 91%

and place it just at the left side of your tag

 

Open Freehand Selection Tool as follows:

 

 

Make sure you are in the right layer,

and draw as follows:

 

 

Press the Delete Key 2 or 3 times.

 

 

Open  PatryTubes_06_Oriental_22

Copy, return to your working image, 

Edit - Paste as New Layer.

 

Effects - 3D Effects- Drop Shadow, using the settings shown below:

 

 

Duplicate twice

Resize the 2 layers ate the bottom to 50%

and the one at the top to 40%,

then place them as finished.

 

 

Open IoM_Graphics_Water_3_tube

Copy, return to your working image, 

Edit - Paste as New Layer.

Resize to 90%

and place it as finished.

 

 

Add a New Raster Layer

 

Open Selection Tool

 

 

draw a rectangle as follows

 

 

 

In the Materials Palette, change the foreground to Pattern, choose D_gold,

and flood fill the new layer.

Selections - Modify - Contract 2 px

Press the Delete Key

Selections - Select none

Effects - 3D Effects- Drop Shadow, using the settings shown below:

Change Vertical and Horizontal to -1 and repeat.

Duplicate twice and place as finished.

Note. If you want repeat again on every layers.

 

Open PatryTubes_06_Oriental_21, Copy, 

return to your working image, 

Edit - Paste as New Layer.

Resize to 40%

and place it as finished.

 

Apply the same Drop Shadow using the settings shown before 

for twice, or at your pleasure

 

Add your watermark.

 

 

Image - Add Borders  1 px, color red 

 

Select with the  Magic Wand as follows:

 

 

In the Materials Palette, go to Pattern, 

choose D_gold, and flood fill the borders.

 

Keep this image (aside) for now.

 

Open a new image 600w x 500h transparent background; 

Raster background checked; Color depth 16 million colors

 

Selections - Select all

Open  again insomniacbg13.jpg, copy, back to your working image, 

Edit - Paste into Selection.

 

Keep selected!

 

Add New Raster Layer, and flood fill vith the pattern D_gold

 

 

Selections - Modify - Contract 1 px

Press the Delete Key

 

Effects - 3D Effects- Drop Shadow as follows:

 

 

Keep selected!

 

Add New Raster Layer

 

Selections - Modify - Contract 10 px,

flood fill vith the pattern D_gold

 

Selections - Modify - Contract 1 px

Press the Delete Key

 

Selections - Select none

 

Apply the same Drop Shadow, using the settings shown before 

Repeat twice

 

 

Now open the tag keeped before

 

Copy, return to your working image, 

Edit - Paste as New Layer.

 

Apply the same Drop Shadow using the settings shown bfore 

Repeat twice

Now change Vertical and Horizontal to -2 and repeat twice.

 

Resize if needed and save as .jpg

 

 

A version with gold borders
